Kara Strope Warr has worked in fashion since her teen years and her love for the industry drove her to begin designing jewelry while attending the University of Alabama. She began selling her pieces at sorority houses on campus and trunk shows. Soon, it was a thriving business and her designs were being sold in boutiques all over the South.  The KSD Fine Jewelry Collection combines pave and rose cut diamonds with oxidized sterling silver, precious gemstones and pearls. The collection features necklaces with interchangeable pendants as well as earrings, bangles and gold bead bracelets with pave diamond accents. Her designs are all created in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she lives with her husband, Michael, and four children, Macon, Hill, Michael, jr. and Jude. While the collection in itself has many beautiful pieces to offer, Kara also offers custom pieces as an exciting design option for her clients.
